My aim is to create a caring therapeutic relationship with you that is founded in empathy, trust, and respect. Together we will create a safe and open environment for brave and insightful explorations. I offer collaborative, client-centered therapy that supports the development of personal insights and practical coping skills through curiosity, mindfulness, and compassion. My approach is holistic, trauma informed, and relational and informed by a variety of clinical perspectives including psychodynamic theory, attachment theory, somatic practices, and mindful self-compassion with an emphasis on tailoring treatment to you and your personal goals. I have experience and passion for working with issues of anxiety, depression, codependence, people pleasing, perfectionism, relationship challenges, identity exploration and development, stress management, career and life transitions, substance use, and childhood trauma.

As an immigrant, woman of color, and first generation college graduate, my approach is informed by a social justice lens and a commitment to uplifting and empowering individuals and communities. I worked in education for over a decade at UC Berkeley engaged in community building and providing direct support, leadership, and training to diverse students and staff. I completed my Masters in Social Work at NYU, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Washington, and am also a certified life coach and mediator. When I'm not working, you're likely to find me enjoying a museum or theatre, gardening, exploring San Francisco, or a listening to a podcast or audio book. .
