My Approach
I value helping to foster a secure space and use an integrative approach to help clients feel empowered to reach their personal goals. Intersectionality has been paramount on my own personal healing journey and I have had the opportunity to work with clients who benefit from the same lens. I draw from an integration of approaches to include the internal family systems model, emotionally focused therapy, and psychoanalytic theory in order to work with and honor a wide range of identities and experiences. Mindfulness is often incorporated in my work to help facilitate the important connection between the mind and body in order to help foster a better understanding of self.

What To Expect
Working with me will be a collaborative and compassionate experience. Through the use of an intersectional and multicultural approach I hope to facilitate a space for you to explore and better understand the impact of identity and past personal experiences in order to move towards a healthier and more fulfilling future.
More About Me
I am a strong believer in the ability for therapy to help produce long term positive change. As a Black and Lesbian therapist with a number of other intersecting identities I can understand how important having a secure and safe space can be. I received my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University. My work with children, individuals, and families in a number of settings has provided me the privilege of walking alongside others as they navigate identity, trauma, difficult family dynamics, grief, and other difficult phases of life.
