My Approach

In my psychotherapy practice, I take an integrative approach of psychodynamic and
cognitive behavioral therapy. I also draw from relational-cultural, feminist, and narrative
theories and enjoy incorporating mindfulness and creative arts when beneficial. I
support individuals and couples struggling with anxiety, depression, identity questioning,
relational and sex-related issues, trauma, and self-perception. I feel grateful to work with
clients from diverse cultural backgrounds who identify across the gender and sexuality
spectrums.

What To Expect

It is my firm belief that everyone deserves a safe and supportive space to be heard. As
Irvin Yalom said, “It’s the relationship that heals.” - the relationship between therapist
and client is the most important part of therapy. It is my aim, as a therapist, to show up
for my clients in this way and be a supportive agent in their own facilitation of growth
and change.

More About Me

I believe that with the right modality of therapy, humans have incredible capacity to
develop their resilience. My hope is to support clients in connecting with their own inner
agencies of resilience. I am passionate about art, movement, meditation, and cold
exposure! I received my Master’s degree in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness
at New York University and am a licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of New York.
