My Approach
Entering into the therapeutic process is the best investment we can make in ourselves. I have rich and varied experience working with clients in crisis - experiencing challenges with relationships, self-image, depression, anxiety, uncontrolled mood changes, and past trauma. I work primarily with individuals, couples and families seeking to enhance their quality of life through the guided process of self-exploration, reflection and growth. I have a natural penchant for building relationships and a practical action-oriented approach.

What To Expect
I am a humanistic therapist in every sense of the word. While building a strong therapeutic connection that fosters trust and security, I'll help you discover your shadow parts and free yourself of disabling patterns that haven't been working for you. My goal is to help you build insight into who you are, find meaning behind your feelings and develop a healthy sense of self.
More About Me
My strong clinical background serves as a pillar to my psychoanalytical work. After graduating with a degree in Psychology from Penn State, I earned my Master's Degree in Social Work from Columbia University. Early in my career, I served disenfranchised populations in East Harlem, working with individuals, children and families in a healthcare setting. I later served acute (inpatient) psychiatric patients at Florida Hospital Orlando and Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City for several years. I am also a formally trained and certified DBT provider. After starting my family, I sought outpatient psychotherapy work and feel so lucky to have been a team member of Expansive Therapy since we opened in 2018! I feel most complete when I'm spending time with my family, snagging all things vintage, and channeling my inner Ina Garten by hosting themed dinner parties for friends.
