What to Expect
You can expect me to be curious, empathetic, and compassionate in our time together. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space that encourages you to be open and vulnerable as well as provide feedback to me. Each session will be tailored to your needs and goals. It is my hope this will allow us to work together to create a meaningful therapy experience.
More About Me
I hold a B.S. in Psychology and a B.A. in History from Howard University which gave me a broad knowledge of systems of oppression and a deep passion for social justice. I believe these ideas are often important to bring into the therapy room to help situate our experiences in the world. I am currently an M.A. candidate in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness with a dual certification in LGBTQ+ Affirmative Counseling at New York University. I love activities that stimulate my body and my mind. I enjoy being active through running and yoga as well as reading, crafting, and cooking.
