My Approach

I believe that relationships can heal and authentic connection is at the core of my work. I integrate psychoanalytic and humanistic theories alongside mindful self-compassion and trauma informed practices. I am especially interested in the unseen space between us and the intentional use of myself as a tool in our work. I believe that the body has an innate wisdom and inner-knowing far deeper than the’ thinking mind’ and in listening  to our body we start to make our way back to ourselves.

What to expect

Expect to meet yourself more intimately; both in the parts of yourself you accept as well as those that might feel are too raw to go near. The safety we co-create provides a nurturing environment for this work. Ultimately, your body is your guide as you allow yourself to venture deeper within.

More About Me

I love moving my body, am drawn to all topics related to spirituality and find that a swim in nature is the ultimate reset to my Being.

I have previous experience in clinical practice as a Humanistic Integrative Counselor registered with the British Association of Counseling Professionals (BACP). I am also a certified yoga teacher (RYT200). Counseling is a second career for me. With an undergraduate degree in Commerce from the University of Toronto I have worked both in the corporate sector as well as the wellness space. As a South Asian woman I have navigated both eastern and western societies giving me an added sensitivity into how identity and intersectionality play a part in our lived experiences. I am currently an M.A. candidate in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness at New York University.
